Hi my name is Becky Gentry.   I grew up in San Antonio and am a product of NEISD.  After I graduated from MacArthur High School, I attended Texas Tech University where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education.  Upon graduating from college, I taught special education in Levelland, Texas for 3 years.  In the summer of 2001, my family moved to Parker, Colorado, where I taught 3rd grade for 1 year.  We returned to San Antonio in 2008. I taught 3rd grade at Woodstone Elementary for 4 years before moving to Hardy Oak, where I taught 5th grade for two years.  This will be my 5th year teaching GT. In 2022, I earned a Master's degree in Education Administration. 

My husband, Robby, and I have been married for 28 years.  We have two boys.  Payton, who graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, and Walker, who graduated from Texas A&M.  We have two very spoiled dogs that rule our house.  I enjoy time with my family and our two dogs, going to the movies, reading a good mystery, and shopping with friends.
