Howdy Rangers! I have been teaching since 1993. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University and received my master's degree in educational leadership from UTSA in 2000. I have also published an article about how children learn to read in an educational magazine called ERS Spectrum. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I love to go to the lake, work in my flower beds, travel, go to the pool, and write curriculum! Some of my favorite treats are sweet tea with blackberry from Sonic, strawberries, cheez-its, chocolate, chocolate, and chocolate! I also have a son who goes to school at Smithson Valley High School in Comal ISD. My family also volunteers at the Bulverde Area Humane Society. We have a lot of fun as a family walking the dogs, playing with the cats and dogs, and finding forever homes for them! We even adopted our dog, Oreo, from the shelter! We love animals. In addition to Oreo, we have 2 horses! Their names are Bruiser and Flaco!
