Welcome to my webpage! I feel so grateful to teach at Hardy Oak and each year look forward to building new relationships with a new group of students.

Our family has spent 20 years serving in the Air Force. Together, my husband and I have two children. Our son, Rees, graduated in 2019 from Reagan High School and is working as an EMT. Our daughter, Regan, graduates in 2023 and will attend Baylor University.  The military has taken us to Louisiana, northern Texas, New Hampshire and southern Maine. We are excited to now call San Antonio our home! I was born and raised in Houston and glad to be back in my home state.

My journey began after graduating with a Master’s in Education in 2006. The military has brought a richness to my educational experience, giving me the opportunity to work with high school, early childhood, and elementary students.

In my free time you may find me running, swimming, reading and spending time with my family. We love to spend time outdoors and can often be seen walking our two dogs, Piper and Maizey, hiking local trails, or kayaking along local rivers.
