Hello Hardy Oak Hornet Families,

My name is Beth Brennan. This is my seventh year teaching at Hardy Oak Elementary!  I love being part of the Hardy Oak Hornet family!

I have been teaching for 23 years and I truly have a passion for working with children! I became a teacher because I love to ignite the fire and build a passion for learning! It is so exciting to watch the students grow and learn over the course of one school year! I am always amazed each year how much they teach me as well! I also strive to guide and build leaders by creating a safe, respectful learning environment for all students to succeed.

I attended college at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Special Education and a minor in Psychology.

My family and I moved to San Antonio in 2004 from Naperville, Illinois (suburb of Chicago). We have 3 children. Ryan is in the Navy. Alaina is a junior at A & M in College Station and Courtney will be a freshman at Blinn in Bryan.
As for the other members of our family, we have 2 dogs, 3 cats, & chickens & goats.
