I grew up in Indiana in a small town outside of Indianapolis.  I graduated from Purdue University with my Bachelor's, and moved to San Antonio to begin my career.   Then, I earned my Master's Degree in Mid Management from Texas A&M.

My career as an educator has ranged from kindergarten to high school and has been challenging and rewarding at every level.  I have taught at the elementary level as a regular education teacher, and was also an Instruction Intervention Teacher, which specializes in dyslexia.  Over the course of my career, I have taught all core subjects, sponsored student council, directed cheerleaders, dance teams, and pep squads at the middle and high school level, and served on many school committees.  

I am thrilled to be at Roosevelt High School as the Cheerleading Coach.  I also assist with the Cavaliers (pep squad), and I teach non-competition dance classes.  The Roosevelt Dance Studio has become my second home, and serving the RHS community has been fulfilling and rewarding.
