Mrs. Polly Oursland

I am excited to be working with the students at Ed White Middle School.  This is my 19th year of teaching, most of which were done at the high school level.  I have been working with students with special needs for 12 years and always love to see how much students learn and grow throughout their school years.

I was married for 36 years, but lost my husband to cancer and am now widowed.  I have 3 grown children who are all happily married.  I have 4 grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls.

My children and grandchildren are the center of my life and I love spending time with them.  My hobbies are reading, crocheting, and sewing.  I love to make things as gifts, especially baby blankets.

I look forward to working with the 6th grade students at Ed White Middle School and am proud to be an Eagle!
