Mrs. Nelson
I am so excited about being your child's teacher this year! I am originally from Ft. Worth, Texas, but I graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and I have lived in Utah most of my adult life. I recently moved to the Texas Hill Country to live near my parents and be a part of this beautiful area.
I began my teaching career by teaching elementary and middle school Special Education. After pursuing a Master's Degree, I became Clinical Professor of Special Education at my alma mater, BYU. I taught there for 16 years and then decided to return to school to get an Education Leadership Degree. I am very excited to be back in the classroom this year teaching special education and co-teaching in 5th grade. I believe in all kids and I love helping them achieve their goals!
