Mrs. Rogers

Welcome!

My name is Emily Rogers. I teach Chemistry I and AP Environmental Science at MacArthur High School. I've been teaching here for about 3 years, and love this campus!

I spent most of my teenage years in Leander, TX, and went on to attend Baylor University in Waco. After graduating with a degree in Biology, I decided to work with animals. I have lived in several cities across 4 states and had the privilege of working with birds, reptiles, and mammals... Oh my! It was such a joy to teach people about the beautiful animals I worked with that I decided to switch to a career in education. :)

At home, my life revolves around taking care of my fur (and feather) babies. We have a dog, a spunky cockatiel, an adorable pigeon, and a finch! I also enjoy hiking, bird watching, and video games in my free time.

I look forward to getting to know all of you this year!
