Welcome!
My name is Cheyenne Kennel and this is my second year at Churchill High School. Last year I returned to teaching high school full time after taking a 20-year break! Education has always been my calling. Whether a volunteer, violin tutor, substitute teacher or mathematics instructor, I can't help but be in the classroom. Over the course of my mathematics teaching career, I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Precalculus. This year I am excited to add Math Models to the list.
I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and received my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at El Paso. I've been married to my college sweetheart for 27 years and we have two grown boys, both graduates of Churchill.
Churchill students are amazing and I look forward to a fantastic year!
