Mrs. Dana Riggs

I am thrilled to be a member of the Bradley Middle School family!  This school year, 2022-23, I will begin my 17th year in education and my third year at Bradley Middle School.  In addition to teaching 6th grade ELAR this year, I am also the adviser for the yearbook class.  Although I began my career in middle school, I have also taught grades 2-5.  For ten years, I lived and taught in Boerne at Cibolo Creek Elementary, with the majority of that time in 5th grade reading.  

My husband and I have been married for 30 years, and our son is an RN and our daughter is completing her education degree at UTSA.  My furry children are also an important part of our family - Bucky the Basset hound, and four cats.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening and traveling.  Reading and writing are subjects I am passionate about, and I am eager to share my love of learning with the Bradley Bears!
