Hello! My name is Alicia Wortham and I work as the Math Instructional Coach at Harmony Hills Elementary! I am a Michigander (Go Blue!), but have lived in Texas the majority of my life. I was a proud graduate of Thousand Oaks Elementary, Bradley Middle School, and attended Reagan High School my freshman and sophomore year, before heading back up to Michigan to finish out my high school career. 

I began my college career at Texas State, where I was a theatre and film major, but left for Los Angeles in 2008. After spending a few years in the film industry, I came back to Texas to focus on my dream of teaching! I graduated from Western Governors University in December of 2017 and began teaching 3rd grade that January!

I head back up to Michigan every summer, where you'll find my family and me fishing, building campfires, or just enjoying the sounds of the great lakes! I have a wonderful husband who is also a product of NEISD (Hidden Forest, Bush, & Reagan), and a daughter who is in the Second Grade at our neighborhood NEISD elementary school.

This is my 6th year in education and I love every minute of my time with students and staff! I am looking forward to another great year here at Harmony Hills Elementary! We grew by leaps and bounds last year, earning a TEA B+ rating and 5 distinctions! We are going to have another tremendous year of growth and academic success!
