Ms. Abigail Borel

Hello!

My name is Abigail Borel! 2022-2023 will be my 3rd year of teaching. I am originally from San Antonio. I attended schools in Northside ISD. I received my undergrad degree in Geography from Texas State University in May of 2020. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University. I decided to start my teaching journey in Brenham, TX. I taught Texas History at the Junior High. I enjoyed my time in Brenham but I missed my hometown of San Antonio. I was able to move back home and found this amazing opportunity to teach at the Academy of Creative Education. I am so excited to be teaching history at the Academy of Creative Education. I am looking forward to building relationships with the students and helping them achieve their goal of graduating.

  • There are no bells at ACE. Flexible hours and an extended calender allow students to meet their academic goals while providing time for employment and or/family needs. Students attend ACE for a minimum of 4 hours per day based on their graduation plans. Classes are in session from 7:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday. Students may stay until 4:00pm by making arrangments with their teachers. Students must arrive between 7:30am and 10am.
