Howdy! I am originally from El Paso, TX, and moved to San Antonio  in 2019.  I became an educator in 2004, and I have spent my entire career in middle school.  I am married with two children.  My son, Edward, is an 8th grader at Harris this year, and my daughter, Gabi, is a Senior at Madison High School.   In my classroom, learning is contextual and creative.  Students collaborate on meaningful lessons, which require critical thinking.  By making learning relevant to them in this way, students see a purpose for mastering state-required skills and content concepts.
