This school year is the start of my 8th year teaching science at the middle school level. I am excited to have the opportunity to teach science to our 8th grade students this year. I am a previous NEISD student myself and now my 5-year-old daughter starts Kinder with NEISD as well.

When we are learning and gaining new experiences, we are having fun. I want to make sure that my students have their struggles but know that they are not alone and that I am there to support them. My motto in the class is that no student is fearful of participating. We may not always have the right answer, but we are working together to get there. 

I love making connections with my students and watching them grow. Being in this career field knowing and understanding that you are a child’s constant for that school year is key to their growth and success. I would not have asked for a more rewarding and joyful career to come to everyday.
