    The internship allows students to apply classroom learning to real-world situations. The course is a goal-oriented, monitored position related to the student's career pathway. During the junior or senior year, working with the internship coordinator and community partners, student's will receive high school credit while working in a position relating to their college aspirations and career interests.  In the internship placement, students are able to establish a personal work ethic; receive mentoring from adults who will acquaint them with organizational procedures, corporate etiquette, professional expectations; and create connections that will assist them in realizing their educational and professional potentials.
