After graduating from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Spanish. I taught at Fox Tech High School for five years, Brackenridge High School for four years, and East Central High School for one year.   I am very comfortable with teaching mathematics at any level, ranging from fundamental concepts to more advanced math, meeting different students’ needs.

My experience over the last seventeen years has been primarily teaching Geometry, Algebra I and Algebra II. Other courses I have also taught are dual language Algebra I, Pre-AP Geometry, Pre-AP Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus.   I also have experience with teaching migrant and ESL students.  

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my teaching experiences.  My passion is teaching.  I am so excited to be teaching AP Statistics at ISA.  ISA feels like home to me in every aspect. I love being part of the ISA community and consider myself a globie.
