Mrs. Sabrina Doebbler
Greetings,
I am Sabrina Doebbler and I teach 3rd grade. This will be my fifth school year teaching here at Thousand Oaks Elementary School. I have my Bachelors degree through Western Governors University. I have been in education for the past four years. I am GT certified through NEISD as well as have obtained my ESL certification through TEA. I taught 5th grade for two years, 2nd grade for one year virtually. This will be my second year in 3rd grade. I love to encourage my students to be their best self and show them to devote themselves to each task to the best of their ability. I believe in celebrating small victories and goal-setting every step of the way towards those future accomplishments. I look forward to all the great goals and adventures my students this year will achieve.
I grew up here in San Antonio. I am a high school graduate of James Madison High School and I went to NEISD for all of my grade school years. I was part of the James Madison FFA magnet program where I showed pigs, chickens and went to the National Convention for the FFA Science Fair. I am honored to educate in the same district that inspired and motivated me during my educational journey.
Being a teacher is my dream professional career, but in addition to these great responsibilities, I am also a proud wife/mother/daughter/sister/aunt. I have a 9-year-old daughter who is in 4rd grade this year and rules my world. She enjoys playing with our Australian Shepard, Ace, building lego sets and using her innovative mind to create many other things. I love to play tennis, read, and have family time with those around me. My family is my greatest supporter and among them is my wonderful husband. He is a high school history teacher/ football coach/baseball coach. We strive to instill a love of learning and support for others that we get the honor of leading.
