Ms. Melissa Merlo

Melissa was born and raised in San Antonio and grew up attending schools in the NEISD district. She graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in International Studies and taught English in Japan through the JET Program. She earned her teaching license and ESL certificate from the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

This is Melissa's sixth year at Encino Park Elementary, and she is absolutely thrilled that she gets to teach Pre-K. She is looking forward to going on another learning adventure with the youngest members of the Encino Park community.
