This will be my 19th year in public education. I am a proud product of the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em) and the University of Texas San Antonio (Go Roadrunners).
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work as a mathematics teacher, department chair, mentor, assistant principal and principal. I began teaching in Judson ISD, working at both Judson high school and Karen Wagner high school. In 2009, I was given the opportunity to join the Northeast family as the assistant principal of John Wood middle school. I quickly became attached to the community and staff of Wood. For the last four years I was fortunate to work with the Winston Churchill high school community.
I am now in my second year as principal of Wood middle school. It is a priviledge to return to Wood to be able to support students and families in this role. My goal is to instill knowledge and skills in our students so that they may be able to face the challenges of the future. Go Wranglers!
