Mr. Mack Witzel

I am Mack Witzel, and this is my third year at James Madison High School teaching in the Agriscience Magnet Program. I grew up on a family farm in Burlington, CO, and was highly involved in 4-H and FFA throughout my life, showing cattle, hogs, and lambs, competing in livestock judging and public speaking, and eventually serving as the Colorado FFA State President. I then attended Kansas State University where I got my degree in Agricultural Education.

After college, I taught Agriculture in Oklahoma and Kansas for a couple of years before taking a break from teaching and working for the Kansas Department of Agriculture. I moved to San Antonio a couple of years ago and the desire to return to the classroom has led me here. I’m excited to work with all of you and share my love for Agriculture.
