Chef Marnique Jourdan-Davis

Hi, I am Chef Davis and I am excited about teaching Culinary Arts at LEE High School! This is my 4th year here at LEE, Go VOLS! I was the 2022-2023 Campus Teacher of the Year for LEE High School!

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management from Johnson & Wales University in 2005 (Go Wildcats!). I worked for several years in the foodservice industry before deciding to go back to school and obtain my Master's degree in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Family & Consumer Science. I have 7 years of teaching experience and most recently was working as an Admissions Rep/Culinary Demonstrator for Johnson & Wales University. I am originally from Sulphur, Louisiana but I have lived overseas in Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia as well as state side in South Carolina, Alabama and now here in Texas.

I love food, from the history to the science of food is my passion and I can't wait to share my love of the industry with you! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
