I am so excited to be teaching at the North East Alternative Center as a Special Education Co-Teacher!  I earned my Bachelor's degree at The University of Texas at San Antonio and did graduate school coursework at The University of the Incarnate Word.  After many years in the business world, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a certified teacher.  I started at the NEAC campus in 2018.  I have a special interest in social and emotional learning. I enjoy developing relationships and working with our students here to realize their potential so that they can move forward, learn from their mistakes, and achieve success, both academically and personally.
