Welcome to Ms. Pressly's 7th grade Co-Teach Website!
Here is a little bit about me:
This is the beginning of my 8th year of teaching, all at Wood, just in gaps of years. I started my career in teaching in 6th grade English in 2007. I taught that for 3 years and then taught all girls 7th grade Tx History. Then I stopped teaching to have my two boys, Brayden (2011) and Cameron (2014).  I returned to my Wood family teaching 8th grade Reading in 2018. I had the opportunity to move to the ALE position and follow my passion for working with unique individuals. I taught ALE for 2 years, and now am branching out to expand my teaching experience, focusing on 7th grade ELAR and SS Co-Teach.
I am passionate about what I do. I am currently pursuing a double masters from UTPB in Special Education, with a focus on Lower Disabilities and Autism, and working towards certification to becoming a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). I believe that everyone has a voice, but some are so special that it takes a specific person to hear it. I am excited to continue on this journey with you guys and I know this year will be the best yet. Just know, that when you are in my class, you are loved, cherished, and you matter!!!
