Students and parents are encouraged to sign up for one of our Shadowing opportunities.
Come and learn about what makes STEM Academy unique and speak with teachers and students about their experiences at STEM Academy. Parents and students will be able to meet with current students and faculty and participate in activities to gain information relevant about student life at the STEM Academy.
Shadowing is open to all students who would be eligible for submitting a lottery form for the upcoming year. We can’t wait to open our doors to you!

Submit an Online Lottery Form (Required)
All online forms must be filled out by a parent or guardian.
STEM Academy is a 6th – 12th grade program located at Nimitz Middle School and LEE High School respectively. Students are selected through an open lottery process at grades 6 and 9, with an examination of school transcripts required for all other grades. Enrollment is limited to grades 6 through 11.
Lottery Forms are accepted October 1st through 11:59pm on February 5th.
PLEASE NOTE:
If the number of lottery applications exceeds the number of seats available, students will be placed on a waitlist and notified when an open seat is available.
Notification of Acceptance
Upon the close of the Lottery Form acceptance period, students will be notified of their acceptance, or of their placement on the Waitlist. All notifications will take place on the same date via email. Please refer to the Lottery Form for specific details.
