Mrs. Lily Ramos
Mrs. Ramos was raised in Laredo, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M International University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Bilingual Education EC-4th. Her teaching career started in 2004 in Pharr, Texas. She pursued and completed her master's degree in Early Childhood Bilingual Education from the Univeristy of Texas Pan-American (now UTRGV) in 2009. After having family, she dedicated her time to raising her two sons. Upon moving back to Laredo, Texas, Mrs. Ramos also had the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses for Texas A&M International University for the College of Education- Bilingual Department. Her elementary teaching experience includes second, third, and fourth grade. In 2018, Mrs. Ramos became the Instructional Intervention Teacher for Regency Place Elementary. In this new role, Mrs. Ramos teaches students with dyslexia, and serves as the Response to Intervention (RTI) Coordinator, among other responsibilities.
Her greatest passion is making connections with her students, their families, and teachers. When Mrs. Ramos is not teaching, you can find her enjoying her family by going on trips, trying new recipes together, or going to the movies. Her faith is an important part of her life and she will never hesitate to lend a helping hand. Mrs. Ramos is always happy to help!
