I am a native Texan, born and raised in Ennis, about 30 miles south of Dallas.  After graduating from the University of Texas (Hook'em Horns!), I moved to San Antonio where I met my husband, Darrell .  We celebrated 31 years of marriage last spring and have 3 young adult children, all graduates of NEISD schools, plus a precious Blue Heelers, Oreo!

I have been a member of the Bush family since August 2003. My teaching experiences include Pre-K, Special Ed./ Resource, ALE, Reading Lab, Case Manager, and ELAR/ELAR Honors. This will be my 19th year in public education, and my 18th year at Bush. It doesn't get any better than this! I am looking forward to an exciting and rewarding school year! 

P.S. Two of my favorite things are purple pens and dark chocolate, (wink-wink)
