WELCOME TO CHEMISTRY!
My name is Mrs. Robin Parris. I began my teaching career in El Paso, Texas years ago after graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP)! GO MINERS! Since moving to San Antonio in 1991, my teaching experience has included many different subjects in the sciences. I joined the amazing staff at Johnson High school in 2009. This is my thirteenth year teaching at Johnson and Chemistry is my favorite subject to teach.
I am married to Patrick Parris and have four grown children. My husband Patrick, is a retired Science teacher. I have a son and three daughters, Noelle, Colin, Taryn and Erika who are my pride and joy! My interest include nature, planning events, gardening, baking, decorating, crafting, camping, traveling and playing scrabble.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you to learn. I believe strongly that my job is not only to teach introductory chemistry, but to inspire an interest in science and a love of learning. My hope is that you will learn to love science as much as I do and acquire a desire for lifelong learning!
