Hey Tigers!

My name is Coach Harold Huggins.  My wife, Melissa is a 3rd grade teacher at Encino Park Elementary, and we have four kids, Emily (27), Eric (24), Emile (20) and Elise (20). I have been teaching and coaching in South Texas for the last 31 years. My family has lived in the Encino Park area for the last 21 years. Our oldest daughter Emily and I started at Johnson High school when it opened in 2008.  My son Eric and I enjoyed a run to the state semi-finals in football in 2013.  Our twins Emile and Elise graduated from Johnson, class of 2019.  This past year I moved to Wood Middle School and enjoyed the challenge of a different age group.  I'm excited to be back in the Johnson community at Tex Hill Middle School.  I will be coaching football and track and teaching Physical Education and boys athletic classes.  I'm very honored to be a Flying Tiger and to be a part of this great community.

When not teaching or coaching I enjoy camping with my kids, geocaching, watching Aggie Football and doing things around my yard. I am very excited for this new year and all of the adventures it will hold!
