This is my seventeenth year at Theodore Roosevelt High School! I teach the AP Spanish Language and Culture and also the Spanish II HONORS course.  I love my job and I work hard for my students!
I was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa.   I graduated with a B.A. in Spanish from Cornell College in 1984 and a M.A. in Spanish/EnglishTranslation and Interpretation from the University of Northern Iowa in 1987.  I lived in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico (South of Mexico City) for ten years before moving to San Antonio, Texas. I love South Texas and its diversity and am proud to call San Antonio my home.
