Hello and welcome to my website. I am originally from Pt. Lavaca, Texas but we moved to Blanco, Texas in 1977 after my oldest brother graduated from Calhoun High School. After attending Blanco Schools for 8 years, I graduated in 1985 and continued my education at Texas State University in San Marcos. While at TS, I majored in P.E. and Athletic Training and minored in Health and graduated with a BS in Education in August of 1990. I was fortunate to get to be involved with most of the athletic teams there and enjoyed meeting and working with our fine athletes. Towards the end of my time in San Marcos, I met my future wife, Lara Nabers ( formerly Bond of Abiline- Wylie High School). My first working experience was in the Rio Grande Valley in Weslaco, where I worked as an athletic trainer for 7 years before moving on to San Marcos High School in the same capacity for another 2 years. My wife, who was also an athletic trainer, and I had the opportunity to come to LEE and work together in 1998. Lara taught at LEE for 20 years and is now in real estate. I am starting my 24th year at LEE and 33rd overall. Our family has grown along with the LEE community. We have 2 sons, Patrick, who works as a diesel mechanic, and Nathan, who serves in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Florida. Both of our sons graduated from NEISD schools.
