Hi, I'm Ms. Monterrubio.  I currently teach 6th grade Health and coach Girl's Basketball and Track.  This is my 18th year in education and my 10th year at Wood MS.  I graduated from Texas A&M University Kingsville with a Bachelor of Science through the Kinesiology and Health dept.  I enjoy watching sports, spending time in the sun next to all kinds of bodies of water (pools, lakes, beaches, rivers), hiking, camping, family time and MOST of all...being with my beautiful 6 yr old daughter.   My goal this year is to encourage each student to find their passion and embrace a successful future.  I look forward to another wonderful year at Wood Middle School....Go Wranglers!
