I am a native of San Antonio and love everything Texas History. One of my favorite things is to travel and visit historical sites.

I attended college at UTSA. I received a BA in Music Education. I taught high school band for numerous years before moving to Ed White as a history instructor.  I have attended post-graduate studies in Curriculum and Instruction and Music at UTSA. Graduate studies at Texas State University have included Gifted and Talented and Special Education Curriculum. I have just completed by 32th year at Ed White MS

My primary goal is to create interest in historical concepts and apply them to real world situations with my students.
