My name is Kimberly Welch, this is my 11th year teaching, 8 of them being here at Lopez Middle School.  I am excited to be here for another school year and look forward to teaching your child about science.

I have lived in San Antonio my whole life and am a product of North East Schools. I graduated from Ronald Reagan High School and furthered my education at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

I have been married for 4 years to the love of my life who is also a teacher and a coach. He is a football defensive coordinator and track coach at Veterans Memorial High School. We have one son, Bryson Maddox. He is a year and a half old and is the light of our life, we are blessed to have him. As a family we enjoy playing outside, going for walks, and working out.
