About Ms. Perkins
Ms. Perkins was born in Waco, Tx. She attended Midway High School then Southwest Texas State University. In 1996 she received her Master's Degree. Her first two years of teaching were in Kyle, Tx teaching first grade. In 1997 she moved to San Antonio and began teaching in NEISD at Redland Oaks Elementary. There, she taught for 5 years. Since 2002, Ms. Perkins has taught at Wetmore Elementary. Throughout her teaching career, she has taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Ms. Perkins also has a librarian certification from Sam Houston State University.
In her spare time, Ms. Perkins loves to read, shop for antiques and vintage treasures, work on improving her green thumb, and watch her backyard birds. Her favorites include: POPCORN, dark chocolate, Topo Chico mineral water, lemonade, peanut M&Ms, coffee, and her cat, Maggie Moo!

1:50-2:40 Specials (PE days will rotate each week- students must be mindful of shoes on these days)
2:40 Dismissal Begins
Headphones are needed for class each day!
The homework packet along with the reading log is due each Friday morning.
Please sign agendas by Friday of each week.
Please sign Friday Folders over the weekend and return to school on Monday.
Grades below 70 may be corrected and returned for extra points (not to exeed a grade of 70).
