This will be my ninth year at Thousand Oaks Elementary teaching fourth grade. I have been with NEISD for 19 years. After graduating from Texas A&M in 1987, I taught at Spring ISD in Houston and Northside ISD here in San Antonio.  I have been married to my husband, Wyatt, for 35 years and have two grown children. Meagan and my son Kevin, both attended NEISD schools K-12th grade. 
     I love to fish, play golf, create arts and crafts projects, cook, and travel.
     My philosophy for teaching is to always provide a nurturing learning environment and striving to develop differentiated and fun learning opportunities. In addition to building a strong academic foundation for my students, I am also a strong advocate to help foster creativity in students and allowing them to share what they know through public speaking and theatrics.
