Hi Bobcats and Welcome to Stone Oak Elementary!!!  My name is Melissa Aguilar.  I am so excited about being your Pre-Kindergarten teacher this year!!!!! !  I hope you are as excited as I am!!!!  We have some fun and exciting things planned for you!!!

I am beginning my 30th year with NEISD!  I have taught Ready, Set, Go!, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st Grade.

I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education.  I really enjoy working with young children and I am looking forward to a fantastic year!!!

A little about me...

I have two beautiful girls that keep me very busy! My oldest daughter graduated from nursing school in January and now works in Colorado and my youngest daughter will be a senior this year at Churchill High School!  

I have one dog.  His name is Winston. He loves to snuggle with me and just loves to keep me company!

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, doing arts and crafts and just having fun with my girls!!!
