In January of 1989 I moved from Wisconsin to sunny San Antonio and started teaching 2nd grade in the Edgewood ISD. My husband's military career took us to Fort Rucker, Alabama next and I taught ASVAB and BSEP classes to soldiers through Enterprise State Junior College. I then took some time away from teaching in the classroom to be my children's first teacher at home and we moved several more times. We ended up back at Fort Rucker and in 1999 I began teaching 2nd grade for the Fort Rucker Dependents School District. After finally moving back to San Antonio in 2001, I started teaching 1st grade for Ridgeview Elementary in NEISD. In 2004 I joined the team at Steubing Ranch and we opened our beautiful new school. At Steubing Ranch I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I have a total of 24 years of public education experience.
