Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies English Second Language EC-12 Interdisciplinary Studies Degree 1-8 History Specialization 6-8
Hello! Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Let me first start by sharing that I am a proud graduate of NEISD. I graduated from Robert E. Lee Highschool in 1988. I then graduated from UTSA with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and an emphasis in History. This is my 24th year in teaching and I love every minute of it! I am married to my wonderful husband Darrell, and have two beautiful daughters. I have a 9 year old granddaughter and 3 grandsons. They are my pride and joy! In my free time I enjoy shopping, landscaping, scrapbooking, and doing things with my girls, grandchildren, and husband. I also love spending time with my twin sister and niece! I am so excited to share that she is also a 3rd grade teacher at Jackson Keller Elementary. I absolutely love my job, so please know that your children are in good hands every day.
Each school district in the state is required to establish and maintain a district-level school health advisory council. State law requires the majority of SHAC members to be parents (of students enrolled in NEISD schools) who are not employees of NEISD. The School Health Advisory Council acts in an advisory capacity to Board of Trustees.
