Ms. Margaret Yvette Rizzo

Hello,

My name is Yvette Rizzo.  This will be my 29th year teaching and 23rd year at Hardy Oak. I am a native San Antonian and have two beautiful children. My oldest son, Christopher, graduated from Reagan High School and is currently employed as an SE with a tech company. He is an avid photographer and loves to read. My daughter, Courtney, received a BS in Business and an MS in Data Analytics from UTSA and is currently employed at HEB corporate offices. She and her husband, Vince, love traveling.  We are part of a large extended family that loves getting together often.  

My education background begins with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Sul Ross State University and is followed by a Master's degree in History from UTSA. Go Roadrunners!! I have been honored with the PTA Honorary Life Membership Award, Runner up for the Toyota Teacher of the Year Award, and the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development award. I have been very blessed to be part of a wonderful family here at Hardy Oak.
