Ms. Mishell Toledo Mendez

Hello and welcome to my 7th grade ELAR  page! I am Ms. Toledo Mendez, but prefer to go by Ms. Toledo. I moved to San Antonio, Texas this past summer after accepting a teaching position at Jackson Middle School. I lived and attended public schools in Phoenix, Arizona up to high school. After I graduated high school, I moved to San Antonio where I completed my undergraduate degree in Secondary English Education at St. Mary's University.  Although I loved San Antonio, I decided to move back to Phoenix after graduation. In Phoenix, I taught 6th grade ELAR for two years before deciding to move back to San Antonio. This is now my 3rd year teaching ELAR and first year at Jackson! I am so excited to continue working with my students and helping them grow in literacy and writing. This year, I am also coaching our spelling and dictionary UIL teams!
