Mrs. Amanda Gonzales

Hi, I am Amanda Gonzales. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I've honestly never considered doing anything else! I really do love it.

I lived my early childhood years in Minnesota before moving to Florida where I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Elementary Education and taught first grade for one year. After being called to San Antonio, I began my career with NEISD where I taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. After nearly five years of teaching, I was blessed with the opportunity to stay at home with my children. During this time, I decided to go back to school and earned a master's degree in literacy education from UTSA-Go Roadrunners! 

Aside from teaching, I absolutely love spending time with my family: My husband, Jordan, and my two kids, Jackson who is five and Hazel who is three. Together, we like to travel, play all kinds of board games and spend time with our close friends. 

I'm beyond excited to get back into the classroom and to be teaching pre-k at Huebner Elementary!
