Mr. Salvador Edwards

I was born and raised in San Antonio and am a product of NEISD schools, Woodstone, Wood, & Madison. This will be my 10th year in education and my first year at Johnson High School.  I am looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year and am very excited to be part of the Johnson family.  I attended the University of Texas San Antonio, where I received a Bachelor's in Arts in History with a concentration in Social Studies.   I have been married to my wife Katharine for 15 years; she is also part of the NEISD family and teaches 8th grade US History at Tex Hill Middle School.  Together we have 8-year-old twin boys named Anthony and James. 

This year I will be teaching World Geography, where I look forward to helping students make relevant connections to their world through the use of current and historical events.  Along with teaching, I will be coaching Basketball and Softball.  Go JAGS!
