Mrs. Tobin Hays
Welcome students & parents!
I am Mrs.Tobin Hays, AIA. I teach Architecture and Applied Engineering at LEE high school. As a LEE and NESA alumni, class of 2008, my love for this school runs deep. This will be my first full year teaching high school. I am so excited about beginning this journey with you. I am also an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at San Antonio College. As a new teacher, I look forward to inspiring our next generation of Architects and Engineers.
I am a fully licensed architect, with over 9 years of experience in Architectural Design and Construction Administration. During my career as an Architect, I worked at Ford Powell & Carson, and I specialized in historical preservation projects. I have worked on numerous high profile buildings and courthouses including; the San Antonio Missions, San Antonio’s City Hall, and several Texas Parks and Wildlife projects. My husband and I are the proud owners of a local barbeque restaurant called Windmill Icehouse!
I am a proud graduate of Savannah College of Art & Design, where I received three degrees; a B.F. A. in Architecture, a B.F. A. in Historic Preservation, and a M. Arch in Architecture.
