Hello Champions! It's safe to say I never expected my 10th year of teaching to be such a new experience! As a special education teacher, I know flexibility is an asset. Using technology to instruct and connect with students has provided new an exciting ways to present content, adjust instruction easily, and allow creativity in the ways students can demonstrate their learning.
A few things about me? I attended Florida State University and finished my degree at Florida Atlantic University. Texas has been my home for 14 years now. The reputation of NEISD drew us to this area of San Antonio and we have not been disappointed! I have a 19 year old daughter attending Texas A&M, a 15 year old son in the ETA program on the Roosevelt High School campus, and an 8 year old in the 3rd grade here at Cibolo Green.
In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, biking, enjoying the natural areas of Texas, and DIY home improvement projects.
My focus of teaching is to lead students to their full potential and create a positive atmosphere for learning. Feel free to contact me at anytime; I am always here to help.
