Mrs. Lafferty
I grew up in Houston, moved to San Antonio, graduated from UTSA, and began teaching elementary school in 2001. I have worked for NEISD since 2004 and have had the pleasure of teaching all the elementary grades, K-5, in all the subject areas. I also have experience teaching in a variety of classroom settings and programs, including General Education, ESL, Special Education, and Gifted & Talented. In addition to teaching, I was on the district curriculum writing team for science, served as a member of the PLC guiding coalition and have led a variety of clubs, activities and professional development sessions. Teachers have many responsibilities, but working directly with young learners is my favorite role!
I feel very fortunate to be at Stone Oak Elementary with leaders and teachers who inspire passion! Stone Oak Elementary is a campus that cares about its families!
