Hi! I am so excited to see my returning students and meet a few new friends this year! Before we get formally acquainted, I would like to offer you a brief introduction. I am entering my third year as a member of the Roan Forest team in the Special Education department. What I love most about the work that I do is the process of getting to know my students: learning their personalities, their interests, and incorporating both into our shared academic journey.

San Antonio is my second home, as I spent most of my younger years in the state of Wisconsin, where I studied Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. My background in science certainly helps me in maintaining positive classroom chemistry and identifying solutions for each daily challenge. In all seriousness, my pivot from science to special education was driven by a passion for cultivating growth in others--a passion I am allowed to pursue every day at Roan Forest.

Outside of the classroom, I have a few favorite hobbies: traveling to new places near and far, exercising, cooking delicious food, eating delicious food, and taking naps (yes, that is a hobby); but above all, I love spending time with family and friends.
