Mrs. Tiffany Johnson

Hello Reagan Rattlers! My name is Tiffany Johnson. This is my 4th year at Ronald Reagan High School, and this is my 7th year with NEISD!! I am thrilled to be a part of the Reagan community. I am the Special Education STEPS(Steps To Effectively Promote Success for behavior) teacher here on campus, and I am also one of the PALS(Peer Assistance Leadership and Service) Sponsors here at Reagan. 

I grew up an hour west of Chicago, IL. I went to college my freshman year on a Division I full athletic soccer scholarship to Tennessee Technological University. Playing soccer was a huge part of my life growing up, along with a wonderful family and education that helped make me into the person I am today. I missed my family and friends in IL, so I transferred back to Northern Illinois University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts and Science with a focus on business and communications. I ran a small business for 5 years after college.

I met my husband in 2004, we got married in 2007, and had twin girls in 2011. We moved to San Antonio in 2013 for my husband's work. We miss our families and friends in IL, but we LOVE San Antonio. Our twin girls are 12 years old and in 6th grade. One of my girls has a very rare chromosomal deletion and is missing 41 genes of a chromosome. My girls are the reason I went into teaching and specifically into special education. I am proud of the young girls they are becoming. I also have 4 dogs! Two Great Pyrenees mixes and 2 shi-tzus! I enjoy running, cycling, and swimming. I have completed a sprint triathlon, and I have run 3 half marathons. I love spending time with my family and friends, and I love watching movies and TV, but I also love being outdoors. I like playing golf with my hubby, and we love to watch our Chicago sports teams! GO CUBS, BEARS, BULLS, and BLACKHAWKS!
