Who would have thought that this would hit so close to home this year.
Teachers at Windcrest Elementary showed their support for two of their finest teachers who were diagnosed with cancer this year, Mrs. LaRoche (kindergarten) and Mrs. Eddy (Counselor).  Special "Race For The Cure" T-Shirts were donated to every teacher to wear the day before and the day of the race. And yes, Mr. Nunez even wore a pink T-shirt. This page is dedicated to these wonderful ladies and their families.
