The Windcrest Women's Club has worked hard this year to support and raise money for the new library at Windcrest Elementary School. During the fall semester and winter holidays, they created and sold red bows to community members and Windcrest families. With their hard work, they were able to raise $1000 for the Library. At the club's February PTA Meeting, the Windcrest Women's Club made the generous donation to the school.
Principal Jennifer Barton received the donation from club president, Lea Fagin, in a presentation in front of the General PTA Board. The collected funds will be used to purchase student bean bags and seats for the library, as well as to increase the collection of books for all students. Windcrest students and staff would like to thank the Windcrest Women's Club for their time and generosity for such a huge donation to the school.
Mrs. Fouts' 3rd grade class won the pennies for pasta competition! Totals soon to be announced!
