Business and Community Partners

Each year the Partners in Education program brings businesses and community groups together with schools in a collaborative effort that enriches student learning. Through tutoring, mentoring, career awareness, job shadowing, and many more academic-based activities our students benefit from this diverse array of knowledge and resources. Partners come from large and small companies, organizations, retirement communities, colleges, and all walks of life to create strong, positive role models for our students.

North East partnerships are long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between a business or community organization and a campus or the district. These partnerships are designed to be dynamic, innovative and responsive to all groups involved.

To be a business or community partner, you need to

  • Have an interest in building a relationship with either a specific NEISD campus or the district as a whole
  • Designate an employee to work with your campus partnership liaison or the Director for Partners in Education
  • Have an enthusiastic commitment for a long-term relationship with your district partner
  • Have an understanding of the NEISD partnership guidelines.
